charming stay, historic building
georgian architecture original shutters lovely pub
the building had beautiful listed georgian architecture. i loved the original wood shutters on the windows in my room. the pub attached was lovely. also, there was a nice beer GARDEN.

Charming Stay with Fantastic Food
friendly staff full breakfast
The food was delicious , especially the full English breakfast that really set me up for the day. Staff were very friendly. The bar had music , so I really enjoyed a lovely dinner there.
I noticed some dust in the room , and the kettle looked like it hadn't been used in a while as there was mould on the element.

The location is quite convenient with free parking offered to guests , within easy walking distance of the city centre, a valuable amenity for exploring the area. The hotel features an attached pub and a genuine Italian-style pizza place with a wood-fired oven.

I enjoyed staying in a room with a comfortable, large four-poster bed and original wood shutters on the windows. There was a decent-sized smart TV available in the room, that allowed for entertainment. The building has original features and architecture throughout the guest shared spaces.

The staff members were very helpful, accommodating my request for a fan in the room promptly. The young bar staff worked very hard and were polite. My dog was welcomed , and he even became quite popular amongst the customers.

The staff was friendly and helpful . I appreciated that the function room looked beautiful. The buffet spread for the party was excellent (there was plenty for everyone!). I found the hotel's proximity to the city center very convenient.
The carpets in the hallway looked slightly frayed.
